Who we are

Baselumen is a paywalled component library operated by Stacklumen ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you browse baselumen.com, use the app, or submit a form.

What we collect

  • Account data — name and email when you create an account (handled by our auth provider, Clerk).
  • Billing data — managed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Form submissions — the name, email, company, and message you send us.
  • Product usage — every component you copy and every component you generate, recorded as it happens. Set out in full below. No page-view analytics and no cross-site tracking.

What we record when you use the app

We keep a record of everything you do in Baselumen. Every copy, every generation — not a sample and not a monthly total. We would rather say that plainly than file it under "usage data".

When you copy a component we store which component it was, the file it came from, where you copied it from — the React library, the Webflow library, the Studio, the CLI, or the Stacklumen hub — and when. When you generate a component we store that you generated one and whether it completed or failed. Each record is attached to your account and your workspace, and the totals are folded into a per-day count so your dashboard can show them without reading every row.

Why. It is what your dashboard, your copy history, and your plan usage are made of, and it is how the suite shows your recent components inside Stacklumen. It also tells us which components people actually reach for, which is what decides what we build next.

Nothing more than that. We track your use of our own product and nothing else. There is no third-party analytics on this site — no Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Plausible, PostHog, Segment, Hotjar or Meta pixel — no advertising, and no cross-site tracking. We do not follow you elsewhere, and we never sell these records.

Who can see it. These records belong to a workspace, so other members of yours can see activity within it. Our team access them to run the service and investigate faults. Ask us and we will delete your history.

Mailing list & marketing

Submitting any form on this site adds you to the Baselumen mailing list, managed through Mailchimp. We use it to send product updates, changelog highlights, and occasional announcements — never more than a few emails a month.

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can email apps@stacklumen.com at any time to be removed. Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect account or billing emails you need to receive.

How we use your information

  • To provide the library, process downloads, and run your subscription.
  • To reply to your messages and support requests.
  • To send the product updates described above (with your consent, given at submission).
  • To keep the service secure and detect abuse.

Who we share it with

Only the processors that run the service: Clerk (auth), Stripe (billing), Mailchimp (email), and Cloudflare / Webflow Cloud (hosting). We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing apps@stacklumen.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under the GDPR.
